Itanagar MLA Techi Kaso lays foundation stone for key link road, inaugurates new classroom building
In a move aimed at boosting urban infrastructure and education facilities in the state capital, Itanagar MLA and Advisor to the Minister for Urban Affairs, Techi Kaso, on Tuesday, November 4 laid the foundation stone for a vital link road from Circuit House to Punjabi Dhaba and inaugurated a newly constructed classroom building at Government Upper Primary School (GUPS), C-Sector, Itanagar.
The projects, both falling under Ward No. 10, were inaugurated in the presence of Itanagar Municipal Corporation (IMC) Corporator Yukar Yaro, DC ICR Toko Babu, ward members, local residents, and students.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Kaso highlighted the importance of the link road project, describing it as a “long-cherished dream” of the people residing in the area. He assured that the new road would significantly ease traffic movement and improve connectivity within the locality.
At the second event, Kaso inaugurated the new classroom building at GUPS, C-Sector, reaffirming his commitment to improving educational infrastructure. The event saw enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, and community members who expressed gratitude for the developmental initiatives.
Corporator Yukar Yaro and DC Toko Babu also lauded the MLA’s efforts in addressing grassroots developmental needs and emphasized the administration’s focus on improving civic amenities and educational standards in the capital region.
