Papum Pare DC showcases ‘Digi-Kaksha’ innovation at National Good Governance Webinar

Vishakha Yadav, IAS, Deputy Commissioner of Papum Pare, Arunachal Pradesh, delivered a virtual presentation on her flagship initiative ‘Digi-Kaksha’ during the 30th National Good Governance Webinar.

The transformative digital classroom project, launched in Tirap and later extended to Kurung Kumey district, seeks to bridge the digital divide in remote areas by equipping schools with advanced learning tools. The first Digi-Kaksha was introduced at NTC Upper Primary Government School, Deomali, featuring a 4K HD interactive teaching board with offline and online content, conceptual animations, and creative learning modules.

At the core of Digi-Kaksha lies the Building as Learning Aid (BALA) model, which transforms classrooms and school spaces into vibrant, immersive environments. The initiative is designed to enhance learning outcomes, inspire creativity, and make education engaging and accessible for students in far-flung regions of the state.
