Thousands flock to Hari Village in Ziro Valley to witness cosmos blooms
Hari Village in Arunachal Pradesh’s Ziro Valley is drawing thousands of tourists eager to see its famous cosmos flowers.
The valley, renowned for its colorful autumn blooms, has become a major attraction, especially after the Ziro Festival of Music, which brought in visitors from Assam and other states.
Tourists are not only exploring the vibrant flower fields but also visiting nearby Sikhe Lake, enjoying boating, and capturing moments in traditional attire.
Local residents told India Today NE that while they are pleased with the influx of visitors, they are concerned about the plucking of flowers.
Residents appealed to tourists to admire the blooms without picking them, emphasising the importance of preserving the environment while enjoying the valley’s natural beauty.
