Tibetan spiritual leader consecrates museum honouring late Arunachal legislator

A significant cultural and spiritual landmark was added to Arunachal Pradesh as His Holiness the 41st Sakya Trizin Rinpoche consecrated the newly established Jambey Tashi Tribute Museum at Buri, Lumla.

The event also marked the consecration of the Jampa Lhagang temple.

Chief Minister Pema Khandu officially inaugurated the museum, joined by local MLA Tsering Lhamu, wife of the late Jambey Tashi, and other family members. The museum honours the late leader's lasting impact on the region, celebrating his contributions to education, social development, and public service.

Jambey Tashi, a respected figure in Lumla, served as MLA until his passing and was widely recognised for his dedication to uplifting remote communities.

The museum aims to preserve his work and ideals, providing future generations with a window into his life and values.
