Dao Division's Spear Corps dedicate Community Hall to Chongkham

Chongkham, June 19, 2019:

The Indian Army Lohit Brigade's Dao Division of Spear Corps, under its "Operation Sadbhavana" constructed and dedicated a Community Hall to the people of Chongkham in presence of senior army officers and EAC of Chongkham on Monday.

The much-needed facility is equipped with every basic amenity like toilet blocks, water supply, and electricity.

The step is aimed at strengthening confidence-building measures with the local people of far-flung and inaccessible areas of Arunachal Pradesh.

The project was undertaken based on the request made by local people to provide them with a space to conduct public meetings, social events and get together to ensure integrity and harmony. The project was undertaken under its civic action program "Operation Sadbhavana" and completed in record time.

The public of Chongkham from all walks of life has extended their heartfelt thanks to Lohit Brigade's Dao Division of Spear Corps for facilitating them with the much-needed asset which they assured will be taken care of to their utmost satisfaction.
