GUWAHATI: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will visit the poll-bound Assam on a two-day trip on March 19 to begin the campaign for Congress.
Gandhi will visit the Lahowal College in Dibrugarh where he would interact with the students.
After visiting the Lahowal College, the Congress leader will visit the Dinjoy Tea estate in Chabua where he will address a meeting with the tea workers.
He will also hold a mega rally at Doomdooma in Tinsukia district.
Later on March 20, the leader will address two rallies in eastern Assam- Mariani and Gohpur.

This will be Rahul Gandhi’s second visit to Assam ahead of the Assembly elections in the State.
Earlier, during his visit to the state, last month Rahul Gandhi addressing a rally in Sivasagar gave a message that Citizenship Amendment Act, 2019 (CAA) will be highlighted as the main agenda of the Congress.
Assam assembly elections for total of 126 seats are slated to be held in three phases from March 27.
The counting of votes will take place on May 2.
