1.5 KILOGRAM GOLD SEIZED FROM RAJDHANI EXPRESS IN GUWAHATI

Government Railway Police (GRP) have seized 1.5 kilogram of gold in Guwahati Railway station today and arrested two persons in this connection. The recovery was made during a routine checking by the GRP. The arrested duo have been identified as Bikash Khanna and Ajay Khanna. The accused along with the gold were apprehended while they were travelling in New Delhi bound Rajdhani Express. The accused reportedly were trying to smuggle the gold biscuits from Dimapur in Nagaland to New Delhi. Value of the seized gold biscuits is yet to be ascertained. Police are quizzing the arrested persons.
