11 Trains Cancelled Due to Assam Floods

Guwahati, July 25, 2019:

Following the incessant rain and flood in the state of Assam, 11 running trains have been cancelled.

As per the release of the N.F. Railway, it has been stated that the running of the train in the rain-affected portion under Alipurduar Division of N.F. Railway has now become normal.

The long-distance trains have started running normally over the affected portion with restricted speed.

However, as a precautionary measure, 11 trains including intercity, passenger, express train have been cancelled on July 25.

The trains are- Dhubri-Kamakhya (55811 UP) fast passenger train scheduled to leave from Dhubri have been cancelled, New Bongaigaon (07525 UP) Demu Special scheduled to leave from Siliguri on will remain cancelled.

New Bongaigaon-Siliguri (07526 DN) Demu Special train scheduled to leave from New Bongaigaon will remain cancelled.

The New Jalpaiguri-Rangiya (55714) Passenger train scheduled to leave from New Jalpaiguri will remain cancelled. Rangiya-New Jalpaiguri (55714) Passenger scheduled to leave from Rangiya will remain cancelled.

The Alipurduar-Guwahati (55753 UP) Sifhung Passenger train scheduled to leave from Alipurduar will remain cancelled.

The Alipurduar-Lumding (15769 UP) Intercity Express scheduled to leave from Alipurduar will remain cancelled, Lumding-Alipurduar (15770 DN) Intercity Express scheduled to leave from Lumding will remain cancelled, Alipurduar-Kamakhya(15771 UP) Intercity Express scheduled to leave from Alipurduar will remain cancelled.

The Kamakhya-Alipurduar (15772 DN) Intercity Express scheduled to leas from Kamakhya will remain cancelled and Guwahati-Howrah (12346 DN) Saraighat Express Scheduled to leave from Guwahati will remain cancelled due to late running of the corresponding up Saraighat Express.

All these trains were scheduled on July 25.
