26TH FOUNDATION DAY CELEBRATION OF ALL BATHOU MAHASABHA IN KOKRAJHAR

A two day long colourful programme of the 26^th Foundation Day Celebration of the All Bathou Mahasabha began from 15^th may till 16^th may at Bodofa Cultural Complex Chandamari in Kokrajhar.

The reception committee of the conference is doing grand preparation in accordance for the two day programme of the 26^th Foundation Day celebration where more than four thousand devotees will be coming to celebrate.

Speaking to reporters, Convenor of the Bathou Mahasabha, Lwmsrao Daimary said to make the 26^th foundation a memorable event and also to make it a successful one. There will be more than four thousand devotees will thronged from abroad as well as from various places of India including Bangladesh, Nepal, West Bengal, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, etc in the celebration of the 26thfoundation day of the All Bathou Mahasabha, he added.

Daimary also said that the BTC Chief Hagrama Mohilary will be present as the Chief Guest on Wednesday and MP Biswajit Daimary, Assam ministers Pramila Rani Brahma, Chandan Brahma and other miniters will be attending in the conclusion open session.

Dr.Mongalsing Hazwary advisor of the Bathou Mahasabha said that the Assam Government and BTC Government has considered Bathou religion and Bathou San as a state holiday recently,

Further they will submit a memorandum to BTC Chief Hagrama Mohilary to pressurize Central Government consider to declare National holiday for the Bathou religion.
