GUWAHATI: Three pro-talks leaders of the United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA) have been arrested for an apparent conspiracy to assassinate Assam Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, officials have confirmed."
"On March 8 a secret input was received from a reliable source that a group of ULFA (Pro Talk) militants namely Manab Pathak , Pradip Gogoi and Ketu Mudi along with some unidentified members of the group conspired to assassinate the Finance Minister of Assam Dr Himanta Biswa Sharma by using firearms and explosives," stated an official release.

Accordingly, Crime Branch case no 6/21 u/s Sec 120(B) 121/ 121(A)/122 IPC R/W sec 18 UA(P) Act has been registered and Pradip Gogoi, Manab Pathak and Ketu Mudi have been arrested.
