3rd edition of ‘Sobi’ held at Arya Vidyapeeth College

Guwahati (Assam), Aug 20, 2018:

The Photo Forum of Arya Vidyapeeth College here organised its annual photo exhibition “SOBI-3” for the third consecutive year at the college campus as a part of the college’s golden jubilee celebration, besides to coincide with the World Photography Day on Monday.

The exhibition was inaugurated by college Principal Dr Pradeep Kumar Bhattacharyya in the presence of Vice-principal Dr Mrinal Sarmah, supervisor of Photo Forum Dr Papori Devi, faculty members and students of the college.

Altogether 36 participants took part in the exhibition, in which 80 photographs were displayed.

The Photo Forum is a platform for interaction of present and past students having interest in photography. And, as in previous years, this year too, both present and past students took part in the exhibition.

The Photo Forum of Arya Vidyapeeth College was formed in 2016 with nine members and gradually increased to 25 members at present. It also provides platform to all budding photographers of the college.
