4465 Assam police personnel infected with COVID-19, 19 dies

A total of 4,465 Assam Police personnel have tested positive and 19 others have succumbed to the virus, Assam ADGP L&O and Director, Vigilance and Anti-Corruption G P Singh tweeted. He added that the recovery rate is “upwards of 92 percent."

Singh tweeted, “September 18th 2020 – @assampolice 4465 personnel have tested positive till date. 4139 have recovered. The recovery rate is upwards of 92%. 3441 have rejoined duties. Unfortunately, we’ve lost nineteen colleagues till date.
