45 cops from Northeast receive Police Medals

Guwahati (Assam), Aug 15, 2018:

Altogether 45 policemen from the Northeast received Police Medals for distinguished and meritorious services on the occasion of the country’s 72^nd Independence Day.

Among the 45 policemen, two officials of Assam Police received President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service, 27 others got Police Medal for Meritorious Service.

Similarly, two police officials from Manipur and one each from Meghalaya and Mizoram received the President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service.

On the other hand, three police officials from Manipur and two each from Meghalaya, Mizoram and Nagaland received Police Medal for Meritorious Service.
