60 ORGANIZATIONS DISTRIBUTE LEAFLETS ACROSS ASSAM TO CREATE AWARENESS AGAINST CITIZENSHIP BILL

Guwahati, October 30, 2018:

The Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS) and Assam Jatiyatabadi Yuba Chatra Parishad (AJYCP) along with 58 other organizations started distributing leaflets in Guwahati on Tuesday as part of the weeklong programme undertaken in protest against the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2016.

The leaflets were distributed at Chandmari and Ganeshguri area of Guwahati. The leaflets will be distributed in the entire city during the weeklong programme.

The organizations are targeting to distribute a total of 30 lakh leaflets throughout the state.

The leaflets which contain information on the CAB are being distributed with an aim to create awareness among the masses against the controversial bill.
