7 DEAD, 22 INJURED IN ROAD ACCIDENTS IN ASSAM

Guwahati, November 10, 2018:

Seven persons were killed while 22 others were injured in two separate road accidents in the past 24 hours in Assam.

Four persons died on the spot while seven others were seriously injured when two vehicles collided head-on on NH-37 in Kamrup district.

Three persons died and 15 others received  injuries when a mini bus and a truck collided on the Koliabhumura bridge in Nagaon district.

It may be mentioned that cases of road accidents are on a rise in Assam, The state recorded the highest number of 7,435 road accidents in the Northeast, according to a report ‘Road Accidents in India 2016’.
