AASU Protesters Wave Black Flags at Himanta in Golaghat

GOLAGHAT; Assam minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Saturday was shown black flags by AASU members protesting against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) in Golaghat.

Sarma was shown black flags by several AASU activists in front of the office of the students’ body when Sarma’s bike rally passed through Golaghat town.

According to sources, the AASU members raised slogans against the BJP government and the CAA.

Slogans of ‘BJP Go Back’, ‘Himanta Biswa Sarma Murdabad’, ‘CAA aami namanu‘ (We won’t accept CAA) and ‘Jai Aai Asom’ rent the air as the rally passed through.
