ABSU sports secretary of Tangla unit passes away

Guwahati, April 14, 2019:

In a tragic incident, the sports secretary of the All Bodo Students’ Union (ABSU), Tangla Anchalik Committee, Derhasat Boro, passed away last night at Tangla Community Health Centre at Tangla town in Assam’s Udalguri district due to a mysterious illness. He was 29.

Boro fell ill at about 1:30 pm and was rushed to the hospital, but unfortunately, was pronounced dead on arrival.

His body has been sent for post-mortem after which he will be interred at his native village, Bogribari.

Many student organizations have expressed their grief at the untimely demise of the student leader.
