Administration orders closure of restaurant for 7 days

Guwahati (Assam), Aug 20, 2018:

The district administration has ordered shut down of Kasturi restaurant, a prominent food joint located in Ulubari area and serving Bengali dishes, for the next seven days. This followed an inspection of the restaurant on Monday by a food safety team that found food being stored and prepared in unhygienic condition.

The inspection followed complaints by a couple of customers about the quality of food being served at Kasturi restaurant.
