AGP leader threatened by gunmen in Dima Hasao

Haflong (Assam), Aug 23, 2018:

An Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) leader in Assam’s Dima Hasao district was allegedly threatened by unknown gunmen. An FIR has been lodged in this regard at Maibang Police Station, besides a complaint lodged at the Deputy Commissioner’s office.

Firoj Langthasa, a district-level leader of the AGP, alleged that four to five gunmen came looking for him at his Hajadisa village house on August 19. He said they banged the doors and windows of his house and stayed there till morning, before leaving his place.
