A doctor from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) New Delhi arrived in Guwahati on Sunday to take stock of former Assam chief minister Tarun Gogoi’s health. The doctor held several meetings with other doctors of the Gauhati Medical College Hospital (GMCH) after inspecting Gogoi. Dr Anant Mohan is an doctor of the pulmonary medicine department of the AIIMS.
Mohan asked the GMCH doctors to continue with the same medicine and treatment. He asked Gogoi to have normal diet and do some light exercises.

The AIIMS doctor is looking after all aspects of Gogoi’s health including COVID-19. The doctor stated Gogoi’s health condition to be stable now.
