Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS) leader Akhil Gogoi on Friday announced their plans to start a hunger strike on Uruka night and it will be continued till next the day.
Gogoi has urged people of Assam to continue their protest against the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2016 during Magh Bihu so that people can send a clear message to the government.
Appreciating the decision of the families of martyr’s of Assam agitation, Gogoi also warned Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) not to organise any meeting on the issues related to the Bill during the period of Bihu celebrations across the state.
He further appealed the people stick Anti-Citizenship Bill stickers on their vehicles to show their disagreement over the Bill.
