The Bengali Federation said that it will under no circumstances accept the NRC.
The district president of the federation, Madan Sahai threatened that the body will not cooperate with the government in legal terms and threatened to launch an agitation.
Madan Sahai added, “The people have to go through this ordeal after being excluded from the NRC only because they belong to the Bengali community.”
He also alleged that these people have been excluded from the NRC final list due to the ignorance of the officials appointed in the NRC procedure.
