All ferry services cancelled between Guwahati and North Guwahati

Guwahati, May 3, 2019:

In view of the cyclone Fani, all the Ferry services between Guwahati and North Guwahati will shut till May 5 as informed by the Inland Water Transport Authority.

Speaking to Inside North East, deputy Commissioner, Biswajit Pegu said that the District Administration has issued an instruction to every department to stay alert.

Moreover, an issue is noticed to IWT to stop all the ferry services. The District Administration has activated a toll-free number 1077 that will be activated 24 x7, informed the Deputy Commissioner Bishwajit Pegu said.
