AMSA Dima Hasao unit seat on agitation demanding pending Evening OPD payment and others

DIMA HASAO: The Assam Medical Service Association (AMSA) Dima Hasao unit seat on agitation at Haflong Civil Hospital today demanding pending Evening OPD payment and other demands.

According to sources, the agitation will continue on October 26, 27, 28, as well as on November 2and 3, 2021.

During the agitation, the Doctors will total boycott the Out Patient Department (OPD), but the emergency services will continue to remain.

Besides, pending Evening OPD payment, other demands of the AMSA to Assam government are-- Cadre revision, time scale promotion, two advance increments to Diploma holders of SSUHS, pay Dispatary, DHS-FW post, Increase of service PG seats, Restoration/non-abolitions of District Civil Hospitals, Rent free quarter, securities for Doctors and Health care personnel, Pay at per Health/ central govt/other states, Timely promotion and new recruitments.

The Association stated that if the government fulfills their demands and the central committee gives a green signal, the agitation will be stopped; otherwise, it will continue.
