A 24-year-old pregnant woman, who was participating in an agitation demanding rehabilitation of 1,480 families of Laika and Dodhia forest villages in front of the deputy commissioner’s office here, died at Assam Medical College Hospital (AMCH) in Dibrugarh on Friday.


Earlier, another woman protester of the same agitation, Reboti Pao, 55, had lost her life in the process.
