Ardent Himanta Biswa Sarma Fan Gets Inked With Minister's Tattoo

Guwahati, August 21, 2019:

A youth of Assam, Karna Kundal Bharali, has taken 'idol worship' to a whole new level. This Assam boy, who is an ardent fan of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Himanta Biswa Sarma, recently blasted into the limelight after it was discovered that he has a tattoo of the neta etched on his forearm.

Bharali, who is an executive member of the ruling Bharatiya Janta Yuva Morcha (BJYM) in Barpeta district of Assam, got inked with the tattoo a couple of years back, however, he came into the limelight only after a picture of his tattoo was uploaded on Twitter by his friend. The tattoo, which has gone viral, bears the smiling visage of the Minister, with his eyebrows scrunched up in contemplation (after all, Himanta is renowned as a 'thinking Minister', a modern-day Chanakya).

Himanta Biswa Sarma, on his part, appreciated his ardent fan's dedication by retweeting the image on his official Twitter handle.

Bharali is currently working under the IT & social media department of the Assam BJP, and is also a journalism student.
