Armed men arrested in Dima Hasao

Haflong (Assam), September 13, 2018:

The Dima Hasao Police on Thursday arrested an armed gang which had allegedly threatened AGP leaders Firoj Langthasa and Depen Thaosen last month.

Langthasa had earlier lodged an FIR with Maibang Police Station alleging that a gang of four to five gunmen had come to Nablaidisa village searching for him.

Thaosen had also lodged an FIR with Haflong Police Station saying that some gunmen snatched his SBBL gun at Tejwawari village. The police arrested 11 persons and seized arms and ammunition from their possession.
