ARMY AND POLICE APPREHENDED ONE INSURGENT OF KLO FACTION

Guwahati, 28 October, 2018:

In a joint operation conducted against Kamtapur Liberation Organisation (KLO), army and Kokrajhar police nabbed one core insurgent of 20th Batch KLO extremist group.

The accused is identified as Manful Barman. He was responsible of multiple extortion activities in West Bengal and Kokrajhar districts.

From his possession, one country made pistol and live cartridges were recovered.
