JORHAT: The Indian Army has announced indefinite postponement of the combined entrance examinations (CEE) and the Indian Army recruitment rally, scheduled for April 25 and May 1 in view of the rapid spread of the coronavirus infection.

In a brief statement, the Army has informed that the next dates for the examinations would be announced later on.

The CEE was scheduled for April 25 and Indian Army recruitment rally for May 1.

The CEE was scheduled to be held for candidates from Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Meghalaya, Sikkim, West Bengal and Odisha at Shillong, Mariani (Jorhat), Narangi (Guwahati) and Rangapahar (Dimapur).

The recruitment rally was scheduled to be held in Mizoram’s Aizawl.
