ARMY INTENSIFIES OPERATIONS AGAINST G BIDAI IN BAKSA

Based on specific intelligence and electronic inputs including mobile intercepts about location and movement of Self Styled Vice President of National Democratic Front of Bodoland (Songbijit) G Bidai along with other 6-8 cadres of the same group, Army has launched a massive operation in areas of Labdanguri enclave & Manas National Park in Baksa district of Assam. This is the first time in recent past that Army has employed hundreds of troops in various groups with high technology equipment along with Helicopters for search and elimination of G Bidai and his group members. Army has already carried out combing operations in Maina Mata Pathar, Majar Kuchi, Katajhar, Athkari and Achiguri.
