Assam bags 1 gold, 2 bronze in Asia Pacific Masters’ Games

Diphu (Assam), September 18, 2018:

Assam's Pokhila Ingtipi has bagged the Gold medal in the 5000 meters walking competition of Asia Pacific Masters’ Games at Penang in Malaysia.

Pokhila became the first girl from Assam to leave a mark in the Athletics category in this competition.

Along with this, Rajen Rongpi bagged the bronze in Javelin Throw and Shikari Enghi bagged the bronze in 1500 meters race.

Asian Pacific Master Game was held from 7 September to 15 at Malaysia.
