Assam: 2 more Corona positive case as tally extends to 91

2 more Assam corona positive cases have been detected in Kamrup Metro. The patients are connected to the Aloo Godown.

The state Assam corona tally has reached 46 active cases with 41 recovered patients. There are 2 migrated patients as well along with 2 deaths.

Taking stock of the matter, Health Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted

In Northeast India: Tripura has the highest number of covid19 cases followed by Assam. Sikkim so far has 0 home cases.

Latest: One positive case of Covid19 found in Manipur today before the Assam case. A 22-year-old female was tested at JNIMS Porompat and found positive of COVID-19. She belongs to the Manipur’s Kamjong district.

Among the other states, Maharashtra is the first state to cross a thousand deaths. It has recorded 29,100 corona cases with 6,564 cured and 1,068 deaths. The western state is followed by Gujarat and Maharasthra. Gujarat has corona 9,931 cases with 4,035 cured and 606 deaths. Tamil Nadu has crossed 10,108 cases with 2,599 cured and 71 deaths.

India has surpassed China in terms of the total number of Covid19 cases. So, far China has 82,941 cases.

As of 15th May, India has reached 85,940 mark in terms of corona positive cases. The country currently has 53,035 active cases with 30,152 cured and discharged. The total number of deaths is 2,752.
