Assam: 20 Lakh youth to get jobs, says CM

Assam CM Sarbananda Sonowal today during the foundation stone laying ceremony of Jogighopa Multimodal Logistics Park(MMLP) announced that a total of twenty lakh youths will get jobs in the upcoming project.

Assam CM tweeted, “With the coming of Multimodal Logistics Park in Jogighopa, 20 lakh youths will get job opportunities and a new dimension of trade in #Northeast will open up: CM.”

The ₹693.97 crore multi-modal logistic park will be developed under the ambitious Bharatmala Pariyojna and will provide direct connectivity through air, road, rail and waterways to the people.

It is to be mentioned that Union minister Nitin Gadkari today laid the foundation stone of Jogighopa Multimodal Logistics Park (MMLP) in the Jogighopa area, Bongaigaon through an online video conference.
