Assam: 2684 cases detected in the last 24 hours, 9 succumbed to death

Assam recorded 2684 COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours taking the total tally to 111724. The state conducted 37066 tests on Tuesday, 1^st of September 2020. However the positivity rate has now increased to 7.24%

Informing this, the Health Minister of Assam Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted, “Alert ~ 2684

Recovered 85458

The state witnessed 1434 recoveries on the 1^st of September. The total number of discharged patients now reached 86892.

Meanwhile, Nine patients succumbed to death in the last 24 hours taking the death toll to 315
