Assam: 2nd conference of SPs to be held in Duliajan on Jan 3 & 4

DISPUR: The second conference of the Superintendents of each district has been scheduled to be held at Duliajan on January 3 and 4.

Assam's Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma will attend the conference that is to be attended by 126 top Police officers of the state.

It needs mention here that the first ever Assam Police SPs Conference was held in Kaziranga in June.

The conference, which was attended by Superintendents of Police (SPs) of all the 33 districts of Assam, was chaired by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.

Apart from the SPs, other top ranking Assam Police officials including DGP Bhaskar Jyoti Mahanta and Additional DGP Harmeet Singh.

The conference discussed the present law and order situation in all the districts of the State.
