ASSAM: 58TH NATIONAL INTER STATE SENIOR ATHLETICS ASSOCIATION TO BE HOSTED IN GUWAHATI

Champions keep playing until they get it right- Billie Jean King. The sport enthusiast and agile athletes in the country needs no mention. National Inter State Senior Athletics championship, a platform showcasing and boosting young talents will be hosted in Guwahati by Assam Athletics Association in its 58th year. The press meet organized at Gandhi Athletics Stadium, Sarusajai was presided over by sport heartthrobs of P. T Usha and Hima Das. The event is scheduled to be organized in 21 male discipline section and 21 female discipline sections which totals the number of event to 42. The inauguration ceremony will be held on 26th July with Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal adorning the seat of the Chief guest. The Assam government's assistance in the regard is commendable providing amenities and facilities to the athletes from free transportation, accomodation to many others. 15 athelets from Assam is all set to wrestle it out. The program is scheduled to start from 26th. The program would be curtained down on 29th June.
