6 more persons have been tested positive for coronavirus on Tuesday taking the total to 121 in Assam. The fresh cases have been reported from the Jorhat, Golaghat, and Nagaon district. All the districts have 2 cases each.
The state tally has reached 121 positive cases, with 41 discharged and 74 active cases. So far, Assam has recorded 4 deaths and 2 cases have been migrated.
The state Health Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted regarding this matter
As many as +131 coronavirus deaths were confirmed in India in the last 24 hours. Among the states, Maharashtra is the first state to cross a thousand deaths. It has recorded 35,058 corona cases with 8,437 cured and 1,249 deaths. The western state is followed by Gujarat and Tamil Nadu. Gujarat has corona 11,745 cases with 4,804 cured and 694 deaths. Tamil Nadu has crossed 11,760 cases with 4,406 cured and 81 deaths. The National Capital with 10,054covid19 cases has crossed the 10 thousand mark on18th May. So, far4485 have been cured in Delhi with 168 deaths.

Tripura has the highest number of positives followed by Assam. Sikkim so far has 0 home cases.

In the latest, 7 more persons have been tested positive for coronavirus on 18th May taking the total to 115 in Assam. The fresh cases have been reported from the Golaghat district.
One person has died at GMCH prior to detection. 3 corona patients are from the Sarusajai quarantine centre and the rest 3 related to Aloo Godam case are from the Fancy Bazaar containment zone.
1 of the 6 cases was missing. The police have traced the corona patient as on 19th May.
Kamrup Metro has recorded the highest number of cases of corona positives, followed by Cachar and Golaghat.
