MARGHERITA: All Assam Bhojpuri Parishad(AABP) general meeting held on Wednesday at Margherita Kalibari Bhawan was organised by All Assam Bhojpuri Parishad(AABP) Margherita Regional Committee.

The meeting was presided by Rajendra Rai Advisor of All Assam Bhojpuri Parishad Central Committee where Rohan Sah Vice President of All Assam Bhojpuri Parishad Margherita Regional Committee delivered the aims and objectives of the meeting.

The meeting began with lighting of earthen lamps towards the portrait of All Assam Bhojpuri Parishad founder President Late Parshuram Dubey by Kailash Kumar Gupta President of All Assam Bhojpuri Parishad Central Committee and other distinguished guest persons.

After that a 21 members All Assam Bhojpuri Parishad Margherita Regional Committee was formed for three years term with Prakash Gupta as President, Kumari Babita Rajbhar as Working President and Paban Choudhury as General Secretary.

Kailash Kumar Gupta in his speech said that All Assam Bhojpuri Parishad after its foundation in the year 2003 committed for fighting for the basic rights of Bhojpuri people living in Assam and many development work are done.

Rajendra Rai in his speech said that Bhojpuri people are hard working people hence they don't bother any one as Bhojpuri people are the first Class Citizen of our country and are the aboriginal people of India.

In the general meeting Trilok Gupta Organising Secretary All Assam Bhojpuri Parishad Central Committee, Avinash Chandra Sah Publicity Secretary All Assam Bhojpuri Parishad Central Committee,Rama Shankar Koiri Advisor All Assam Bhojpuri Parishad Central Committee, Mithalesh Singh President All Assam Bhojpuri Parishad Tinsukia District Committee,Mahendra Sah Working President and Suresh Mahato General Secretary of All Assam Bhojpuri Parishad Tinsukia District Committee.

A Cultural Programme was held where School and College Students Participated and enthralled the present People.
