ASSAM: AASU PLEDGED TO START A SATYAGRAHA MOVEMENT IN GUWAHATI

In a recent meeting with 28 organisations Cheif Advisor of AASU Samujjal bhattacharya,  President Dipankar Nath and Secretary Lurin Jyoti Gogoi while opposing the Citizenship Bill  also discussed on the upgradation of NRC.  While in a press conference the members of AASU stated that they will began an indefinite hunger strike on 29th May from 6.am in the morning till 5 p.m in the ewening. Many representatives of many organisations will sit in the protest. While in the press conference  it was stated that a huge Satyagraha movement will take place in Guwahati in the month of June.  It was also stated that while warning  the Government  they said that the citizenship amendment bill should be dismissed.
