Kokrajhar, February 6, 2020:

A day ahead of the Prime Minister's visit, members of the All Bodo Students' Union (ABSU), one of the key signatories of the tripartite Accord, has organized a massive bike rally to keep the celebrations going in the Bodo-dominated region.

Other regional organizations such as the 'Progressive' faction of the National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB), and the People's Joint Action Committee for Bodoland Movement (PJACBM) are also taking part in the rally, which has seen participation of at least 2,000 bikers, our sources have confirmed.

According to our sources, the rally started earlier today at 1030 am. The bikers kicked off the rally from NRL point in Kojrajhar. They will proceed to Dotoma, then Serfanguri and proceed back again to Kokrajhar.

An ABSU supporter told Inside Northeast, "ABSU has held bike rallies in all districts. The Bodos have been demanding a separate state for ages. Now, a tripartite pact has been signed between the ABSU, the four factions of the NDFB, and the GoI. We are thrilled at the resolution of the problem after ages."
