A prominent film actress from Assam, Barsha Rani Bishaya, flew into a fit of rage after receiving an "indecent offer" from a lady fashion curator.
The actress took to social media to express her rage after the lady, whose name she did not disclose, approached her on behalf of a rich North Indian businessman.
Barsha reveals that the fashion curator had called her last night on messaging platform WhatsApp. The lady then told Barsha that a 'filthy rich' North Indian businessman from Assamm who deals in electronics admires her a lot and wanted to arrange a foreign trip for her, presumably in return for other favors.

Barsha says that when she heard this, "fit of rage ran through my head to toe. Had I been possession of a gun, I would have shot her right in the middle of her forehead." In her Facebook post, Barsha reveals that the fashion curator lady offers girls to her patrons to "settle deals".
In her Facebook post, Barsha further goes on to question whether the status of being a widow indicates that she is desperate for companionship, or in financial trouble.

Although the concept of 'casting couch' is very much a prevailing phenomenon in Bollywood, according to insiders, the presence of such rackets in Assam comes as an absolute shocker.
Meanwhile, there has been more controversy surrounding Barsha's latest hit movie 'Ratnakar', after it was released on video-sharing platforms by miscreants. An FIR has reportedly been lodged against the culprits.
