Assam: Apollo Hospitals creates awareness on hepatitis

On the eve of World Hepatitis Day, the Apollo Hospitals in Guwahati on Friday organised an awareness programme on hepatitis among people.

Marking the observation of World Hepatitis Day, the hospital is currently offering 20% discount on Apollo Liver Check Packages and 30% discount on Fibroscan.

Addressing a press conference, senior doctors Dr Kamal Chetri and Dr Mukesh Agarwal discussed the causes and symptoms of hepatitis. The World Hepatitis Day is celebrated on July 28 to create awareness among people on infection, consequences and ways and means to prevent the spread of the disease.
