KOKRAJHAR: Days before the Bodoland Territorial Ccouncil (BTC) elections get underway, the Kokrajhar Police has once again recovered arms and ammunitions from deep jungles under Kachugaon police station on Wednesday evening.
"Based on specific information regarding concealed illegal arms and ammunitions, an operation was launched in the leadership of Siddharth Nahar, IPS(P) at Ripu forest ride no 3 under Kachugaon police station in Kokrajhar district," an official said.

The search team recovered one 7.65 mm pistol, a magazine, four rounds of live ammunitions of 7.65 mm pistol and two country made rifles from jungle of ride no 3, under Kachugaon PS area which were kept concealed under the bush were seized.
