JORHAT: Nilamani Changmai, a young artist from Assam, has caught the state's eye with a stunning mural of Assam icon Zubeen Garg that he made on the occasion of the star's 48th birthday, which is being celebrated by Zubin maniacs across Assam on Wednesday, October 18.
Changmai, who hails from Azad Gaon in Lakhimpur, is one among scores of Zubeen's fans who on the occasion of his birthday are showering him with love and affection.

The ardent lover of the singing phenomenon has made a huge portrait of the star on a patch of wall beside the National Highway 37 in Hatigarh area of Teok, Jorhat. Needless to say, his enormous artistic creation has caught the eye of the locals, who are all praise for this youngster's talent.
Zubeen, who is perhaps the most-loved artist to come out of Assam in ages, has inspired immense respect in the hearts of his fans, many of whom celebrated Zubeen's birthday in unique ways to show their love and appreciation.

"I love Zubeen brother immensely. That cannot be expressed via words. I feel like being close to him. Here's wishing him a happy birthday and hope he continues to work for the welfare of the Assamese people,"Nilamani Changmai told us when we caught up with him.
