Nimikha Dihingia, winner of the DY Bihu Kuwori 2014 and Latasil Bihu Kuwori 2017, has aced the HSLC examination scoring 82% with star marks from St. Joseph's High School situated in Moranhat.
It may be mentioned that the young Bihu Kuwori also won the second prize in Rang Basanta Utsav 2019, organized by “Rang”, a popular local Assamese channel.
Speaking to Inside Northeast, Nimikha said that she is satisfied with the score as she was busy with cultural activities during the period of exams. She expressed that she will join the Arts stream in Ramanujan Junior College in Nagaon and is aiming to clear the Assam Public Service Commission Office (APSC) and Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) exams.
She further mentioned that in lieu of her academic pursuits, she is keen to carry forward the tradition and culture of the state. The young performer is also interested in acting and has also taken admission in drama classes in Rabindra Bhawan. Truly an all-rounder!
