TAMULPUR: BJP party nominee and UPPL-GSP party-backed candidate Biswajit Daimary today intensified his election campaign by taking part in rallies in the Paneri Constituency where he outlined his vision for the future.

Addressing a meeting Daimary said, "The people of the country are attracted to the BJP party today for the welfare schemes done by the Narendra Modi-led BJP government for the people of the country. Similarly, in Assam, the Sarbananda Sonowal led government has taken up many schemes that are for the people. So the people of Assam will reject other parties this time and vote for BJP candidates in the state and BJP-UPPL-GSP alliance candidates in the BTC."

Noting that the Paneri constituency is full of various problems, Daimary said there is a serious problem of drinking water including education, transportation, health in other areas of Panari constituency as well as Dimakuchi and northern areas.

Speaking to the electors, Daimary also promised to implement a Rupees 1,000 Crore water supply scheme in Dimakuchi area along the Bhutan border after taking the consent of the Centre.

Comparing the voters to God, Daimary said, "Just as Lord Krishna is incomplete without devotees, so are MLAs and ministers without the voters. I am for all castes and religions and all people have embraced me with love."

Asked about the problems plaguing the tea garden community, Biswajit Daimary said,: "Tea garden workers across Assam are full of problems. I intend to bring tea workers out of tea gardens and make them self-reliant."

He also promised to take up special schemes for the development of tea community people, especially for the unemployed youths of the community.

In another Biswajit Daimary rally at the Bhergaon Darga Supa area, All Bodo Students Union's President Dwipen Boro said that the ABSU is extending support to BJP-UPPL-GSP backed candidates in the interest of implementing every clause of the BTR agreement in letter and spirit.

By giving moral support to the BJP-UPPL-GSP alliance candidate, we believe all ethnic groups living in the BTC get equal status through the implementation of the BTR agreement, he added.
