BJP to announce Lok Sabha nominees after Holi on March 22

Despite holding many discussions and deliberations among the BJP top brass at a CEC meeting held on Wednesday, the BJP leadership has decided not to announce the list of candidates to be fielded by the party in the ensuing Lok Sabha elections. The reason for the delay? As per insider reports, the party apparently considers that announcing the candidates before the festival of colors Holi would be an 'unholy' act.

Thus, the party wants the starts to be in proper alignment on an auspicious occasion when it makes the much-awaited announcement and is expected to make the much-awaited announcement on March 22.
