Arjun Majumdar, a BJP leader from Hojai in Assam, has reportedly 'looted' a BSF jawan. As per reports, the BJP leader had even threatened to the army man with murder during an altercation.
The jawan in question, Munna Paswan, is a resident of Bhimor Ali in Hojai, and has currently been deployed in Punjab to protect the country. Paswan has alleged that the BJP Committee leader had sought Rs. 50,000 from the jawan.
As per media reports, Paswan and the BJP leader Majumdar, were neighbors. In 2011, they both used to work for the RSS, and were great friends. Majumdar has urged the BSF jawan to submit Rs 50,000 to a shady company called 'Strawberry Properties' and had said that it would double after a period of 3 years. But when he had asked for that money after the designated time had elapsed, he was asked for documents to prove that he had submitted the money.

Paswan came back to Assam to submit his documents, and much time has elapsed, but he is yet to receive his money. In 2018, he went to Majumdar to ask for his money, but the BJP leader allegedly misbehaved with him. Majumdar had even threatened to kill the BSF jawan, according to the BSF jawan.
Although this incident has created a furore in Hojai, the local authorities are yet to take any concrete measures to return the jawan's hard-earned money.
