Assam | BJP leader opens fire at Naharkatia

Naharkatia, June 1, 2019:

Sensation prevails in Naharkatia following reports of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader’s open firing on Friday night.

The firing incident took place in front of the Naharkatia Nagar Samiti Office.

It is alleged that the BJP leader, who is yet to be identified, opened fired to kill Nagar Samiti Chairperson Mukut Rajkonwar. But the reason behind the firing is yet to be ascertained.
