Assam: A blow to BJP? Tarun Gogoi gears up for 2021 Assembly polls

Ahead of the 2021 Assam Assembly elections, former Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi has entered the poll mode. From Titabor's Rajiv Bhawan he has announced his intentions from Block Congress Committee Press Conference.

Gogoi has played elections from Titabor four times out of which he has been Chief Minister for 15 years. There have rumours however that the veteran will not opt for the elctions this time. This was seen by political observers as a easy passage to the BJP but he those doubts have now been cleared by the Congress.

Titabor's block congress officials are hopeful of Tarun Gogoi's candidature and are expecting him to win the seat with high votes
